1957 Chevy Pick Up - 283 Cu In with 2-Speed Glide WOW!

1957 Chevy Stepside Pick Up - Short Bed.
Texas import so very good throughout - Motor is a 283 Small Block Chevy with an ally Holley Inlet and a Holley Performance Series Carb (Brand New). also fitted New Battery and recent alternator. Transmission is 2 Speed Power Glide. I believe this has a shift kit in it as when engaging gear it really kicks - Super positive - the Power Glide casing i believe is the later style with the webbing on the top of the ally casing - very clean. Motor sounds great with twin exiting Cherry Bombs.
This PU is turnkey and fires up first time every time. has drum brakes on all four corners. rear end is from a 2nd gen GM F Body so strong as well. The body is very presentable. faded blue paint but no real issues. just the usual dinks and dents you would associate with a 57 year old vehicle.
The interior is really nice. it has a very nice matching blue velour/vinyl bench thats in great shape with no rips or tears - it is super soft!
The wheels are white 8 spokes with BF Goodrich Tyres. these are older items and I would expect to replace these before you drive it on the road. that being said they hold air very nicely and will do whilst you get the truck where you want it to be.
All lights work well and there really isn't any hidden nasties. the only thing worth mentioning is the passenger door is stuck shut. the bottom of the drivers door skin has de-laminated from it seem - not that hard to repair. All in all this is a 57 Chevy Pick Up - hard to find now and especially with fitted outside sunvisor - This will make a super nice truck for someone this summer. It is 57 years old and has had repairs over the years. so please do not think this vehicle is a New item. There is a Ply liner in the rear bed thats in almost new condition. the tailgate is also real nice as well.
There are plenty of Shit Boxes with 6 cylinders in them advertised on this site. requiring "Minimal Work" at these monies. but this really is a strong PU to start with - not much required to have on the road at all here. Please feel free to call me with any questions - I am happy to chat.
