If you are reading this then you are most likely already aware of the huge increase in value and desirability of these rare little gems. hence if you are looking for a true investment and/or a fun usable little classic then look no further as the A40 Sports is the car for you.

This particular car is in very good condition having benefited from a quite recent restoration. She is very solid throughout and has benefited from some nice subtle upgrades to make regular driving a lot more pleasurable. i. e. . alternator conversion. complete rewire and an uprated 1600 engine.

She still maintains the column shift gear selector.

Interior was also re-trimmed a while back.

As you can see from the photos she really is a beautiful looking car.

In my opinion she is a good 7-10. with just some minor detailing/fettling required to bring her up to the top level (if so desired).

 I`m not going to go into too much detail on this one as I know how desirable these cars are and I am more than happy to answer any genuine questions from any prospective buyer so please feel free to ask whatever questions you need to know the answers to - Do NOT assume anything. !!

As far as values go I`m sure you have a fair idea already but I have seen these `sold ‘for as much as £21. 00+. !!!

In fact. every one I have found for sale on various websites have in fact been sold – No matter where in the world I have searched. !!!

I`ve had a quick look on eBay and various other sites and it has confirmed what I already suspected that there are hardly any of these now available for sale.

In fact there was one sold very recently here on eBay for total restoration (and I really do mean TOTAL. ) that was basically a box of bits that still hit 4 figures. That car I know will cost at least £20. 00 just to bring her up to the level of mine.

With the above in mind I think this delightful little example makes for a truly wonderful opportunity for both an investment `AND` for your own enjoyment. but please note. I will not be giving her away as I know how rapidly they are increasing in price and how rare they have become. and if you don`t believe me then please feel free to go check for yourself.

Obviously due to storage of my trade vehicles and the very nature of older vehicles. I would suggest a good service/overhaul of all fluids. brakes. rubbers. clutches. pipes. engines and electrics would be advisable and most likely needed in some cases.
