EXTERIOR
Finished in a tasteful shade of red. this 944 convertible remains in excellent condition with very few stone chips to be found. All of the panels line up well and the sills and arches remain free from any corrosion. The plastic rear bumper is in fine condition with no major scuffs or damage and the Porsche decal located below the rear lights is unmarked. The wonderfully period 'pop-up' headlights are still operating perfectly with no cracks or moisture to be found.

The black soft top compliments the red paintwork beautifully and remains in excellent condition with no damage or tears to be found. The plastic rear screen is in equally fine order. still clear and undamaged.

INTERIOR
Both front and rear seats are upholstered with black striped cloth centres and vinyl bolsters. There is no wear or sagging to be found to any of the material and the seats feel comfortable and supportive. The dashboard and centre console retain a deep fresh texture with no sun damage or unsightly scuffs to be found. All of the switch gear works as it should and feels solid to operate.

Smaller details such as the steering wheel and gear knob are showing minimal wear. The boot space houses the space saver wheel that can be found under the unmarked black carpet.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Having covered just 46k miles in 24 years with a fully stamped service booklet. this 944 is in excellent mechanical condition. This example has been maintained by Porsche AFN and Porsche Centre Guildford for the vast majority of its life.

The 5 speed manual gearbox is a joy to operate. feeling smooth and precise pulling through the rev range.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The 944 sits on an immaculate set of polished 16" Porsche alloy wheels. These are shod in matching Dunlop tyres with a good amount of tread remaining all round. The brakes feel strong and competent. pulling the car up confidently in a straight line.

HISTORY FILE
The 944 S2 was first registered in 1990 and sold through its supplying dealer AFN Porsche London. There are a total of 20 stamps in the original service booklet. between 91-98 the first 7 services are with the supplying dealer and the following 7 between 99-05 are with Porsche Centre Guildford. taking it up to 28k miles. The most recent inspection was an oil service carried out by James Paul at 42k miles.
