A rare opportunity to get your hands on TWO Mk 2 2. 4 Manual Jaguars for restoration! Both vehicles in need of full restoration or use one car to donate to the other. The Blue vehicle has stood for approximately 15 years and requires extensive work to put into a road worthy condition. it is believed to have had one family owner since new in 1963. The interior is in good condition compared to the body especially the leather seats. All internal wood trim and door cards etc are in situ. The Blue interior and exterior photographs are of this vehicle.
The Green vehicle is a 1962 model. starts and comes with the old style log book and the original log book plus an MOT certificate which expired in April 1996! The odometer shows 51K. One of the previous owners is a ‘Mr Morse'… The body of this vehicle is solid however. the interior has been completely removed in preparation for restoration – the seats/door cards/wood trim etc are all included in the sale. The green exterior. red interior and cleaner engine photographs are of this vehicle.
I purchased the pair to use the body and engine of the green one with the interior of the blue one but a relocation and change of circumstances is reluctantly forcing the sale before I can really get started! Both cars are effectively complete and have many extras ie lights. spats. hoses etc with them.
