Rock Solid Air Ride Beetle (Very Ratty)

I don't want to but a new business venture is forcing me to be sensible.

For sale is my '72 ratty air ride bug. It is rock solid underneath its ratty exterior. comes with 12 months MOT & Tax and is running a very reliable 1200 engine.

The bug is running on a custom built air ride system. with front and back air shocks controlled by a Range Rover compressor and air tank. This allows you to control the height of the ride on the front and back of the bug independently and makes for a very comfortable ride.

The bug is also fitted with

I know the previous owner also replaced a lot of parts on the suspension etc but I don't have a list of which parts sorry.  The bodywork needs some attention if you want to step away from the rat look but it's mostly cosmetic.

Only issue is a very slow leak in the air system which I haven't had chance to investigate yet. The shocks are holding air well but when not driven for a few days it will slowly go down. The system is very simple so I have no doubt it will be an easy fix. It may benefit from a new compressor (about £100 on ebay) The front shocks were new from lime bug a few months ago. and I also have 2 spare second hand ones which will come with the car.
