for sale is my escort mk1 4door rally replica


it has a 1600cc Kent engine which has been bored out to 1720cc. flowed head. it is running twin DCOE weber 45s which are a factory matched pair with consecutive serial numbers. it has a facet high pressure fuel pump which feeds a manual Weber fuel pressure regulator. hotwerks HT leads. the list goes on! it starts and drives but needs the carbs setting p as they haven't been done for a couple of years.

It has a brand new stage 2 clutch kit fitted to match the extra HP produced by the engine modifications. it has a Limited Slip Differential fitted which is loads of fun!!  it has recently been resprayed in Kawasaki ninja green which really makes the car stand out!     it has brand new JBW 15 inch Minilights with brand new tyres. it has a fibreglass bonnet in matt black. rally spotlights on the front which cost a fortune. US spec quarter bumpers on the front which set the spots off well!

it has 2 bucket seats with sub frames and 3 point harnesses in the front and a standard rear bench seat. it also comes with another genuine 4 door rear seat with the corner cut outs for the 4 door which are very rare nowadays!

the MOT and tax have just expired on the car and it will need a couple of finishing jobs to get another. the indicator wiring needs sorting. the wipers need looking at and the brakes will probably need a strip and clean as I haven't used the car for a while.
