This 1970 Chevelle SS Convertible has been through a no-expenses spared full frame off restoration. and it shows. Everything about this car is high quality. from the Cranberry Red paint with black stripes. the new POWER convertible top. and even the 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. Cost was no object with this restoration. The only goal was to have the very best Chevelle possible. and the project was a smashing success.

The American Racing Torq Thrust wheels that adorn all four corners of this car are perfect. They have period-correct styling. but allow just enough from the new disc brakes behind them to shine through. a perfect balance. The red with black Super Sport stripes paint scheme is a classic. and this A-body wears it with pride. Adjustable QA1 coilover shocks give this Chevelle the perfect stance.

Inside is an all new black bucket seat interior. and a new black convertible top. too. Also. all of the chrome and weatherstripping has been replaced with new pieces. This car is flawless. Look over the restored dashboard and watch the functional cowl induction hood. and you can’t help but want to put your foot in the gas. Under the hood is a 396 cubic inch big block built by Mancini Racing that produces PLENTY of horsepower and torque to get your motor running. It’s mated to an ATI Th400 3-speed automatic. so all you have to do is put your foot on the gas and GO GO GO. If you want to go fast and look good doing it. this Chevelle is the car for you.

Out back is a Ford 9” rear end with 3. 70:1 gears and a new 4-bar rear suspension. The front control arms are DSE tubular units as well. which are lighter and stronger than stock parts. The builders of this car checked every box. and put together one of the nicest 1970 Chevelle SS Convertibles we’ve ever seen.
