Porsche 911 turbo.  1987 Type 930
You have the opportunity to own this excellent example of the original everyday supercar.  If you were a kid in the eighties and loved Porsche this would be the car you had a poster of.
This car comes from an era where West German engineering meant that if you drove a Porsche you had the superior machine. The 911 turbo's muscular shape adds to the classically recognisable silhouette of the 911 we know and love. The swollen wheel arches covering wide Fuchs wheels and Brembo Braking. the large rear spoiler housing the Intercooler. all born from the need to house various improvements made to keep up with the Turbocharged Bosch injected powerhouse that resides in the engine bay.
Why do we hold these vehicles in such high regard?Simply put it is the repeatable performance and reliability that it's contemporaries could only dream of which make Porsche from this era stand out for us. The performance and reliability is not by chance. Porsche cherry picked the best items available at the time to make the 911 turbo the flagship in Porsche lineup.  Items like the Brembo 4 Pot brake calipers. Bilstein wide track sport suspension. rose jointed steering arms for improved response and feel. the dry sumped oil system. these items are normally only found on racing cars from the time.
Everything was considered to reflect awesome performance the 930 can deliver.
You can truly use this car whenever and wherever the mood takes you thanks to the 911 turbo relatively small footprint for a supercar and superior Porsche engineering. This car is equally happy on it's annual trip to the South of France or around town.
After all "Excellence was expected"

The current owner of this 911 turbo has owned the vehicle for 11 years during which time he embarked on a quest to have the perfect 911 turbo. He has commissioned various well known names in Porsche aftermarket care to make his car a bench mark.
This car simply must be viewed. The pictures and character limit for this advert cannot do it justice.  So I shall list some facts and figures pertaining to the vehicle and serious buyers can step forward.

Interior.
The whole interior received a full leather retrim and new carpet set by Southbound trimmers.  If you know Porsche it's 99% certain you know of Southbound. For several years they have been one of the leading names in supplying the Porsche aftermarket with year/type correct specification interior equipment. Items such as Dashboard and Door cards were replaced with new Porsche O. E. items for perfect results. Several hides were used to retrim the car as factory spec in the rich red leather you see in the pictures. Other parts are covered in Black leather as per factory upgrade options originally fitted to this vehicle.  The finishing touch is the Porsche Black luxury Alcantara headliner. (Very dark Grey)The front seats are 4-way electric and heated The rear seats have the correct "turbo" script.
Engine.
The center piece has been reworked at 85 thousand miles. During the current keeper ownership the following work has been carried out. The engine was refreshed by JAZ Porsche. to this day pulls strong develops in the region of around 380-BHP and has no known faults. The engine was stripped down to carry out a "Top end rebuild" to correct leakage through a couple of the exhaust valves. (common issue)The heads were fully rebuilt and the engine was reassembled using all Porsche O. E. partsAt this point the Bosch fuel injection was overhauled. The Fuel metering head and Warm-up Regulator were reconditioned and all six injectors replaced.   JAZ fitted a Fabspeed twin stainless steel exhaust (Turbo-back no CAT as per O. E. )K&N Air filter in standard housing.  Later JZ Machtech fitted a Brand new KKK-27 uprated Turbocharger with a 1-Bar Boost spring which greatly reduces turbo-lag and has the pleasant side effect of developing the above power figure.

This car was fitted with a ZF Locking differential as standard equipment from new.
