My 1. 6 laser is now available for sale

In great condition The body work is Brilliant due to work done by the last owner

Has also had a re-spray in diamond white around 3 years ago. and has hardly covered

Many miles since.

The speedo says 43. 00 which I believe to be true (I have no proof)

But this Pinto engine is in Absolutely fantastic condition. purrs like a cat! No knocking or rattles Just as it should be with a twin webber carburettor.

The underneath has been waxoiled so is in good condition.

When I brought it. had a full body kit. which I have removed . nd have had it restored to the proper ride height.

 

Over the last 4 months this car has had fitted

BRAND NEW RALLY CALLIPERS

BRAND NEW SLOTTED & DRILLED DISCS

KEVLAR BRAKE PADS

COMPLETE NEW BURTON POWER SPORTS EXHAUST SYSTEM INCLUDING MANIFOLD

NEW FRONT SPRINGS

NEW ALTERNATOR

NEW FUSE BOX (sorted out all odd electrical problems)

NEW BATTERY

A WORKING HEATER FITTED

 

MOT TILL SEPTEMBER 2014

TAXED TILL APRIL 2014

 

I have also done work to get all the electrics working correctly

Have added a ceramic heater blower to the rear parcel shelf

(As only 2 of the lines work on the rear screen element)

Has a Fittipaldi sports steering wheel

Nearly new tyres all round

Nice alloys including the spare

A working non leaking sunroof.

5 speed gearbox

Original 80's Radio

Factory fitted sunroof

 

Dash has not been cut to fit modern Audio unit

No cracks on front dash

 

You will also get a box full of Capri bits too!

Including a Haynes manual.

 

The faults I know about are:

Drivers seat a little worn on r/h side

One rear seatbelt does not pull out

Only two lines of rear demister work

As this are all minor I have not bothered to

Sort these out yet.

 

This is a really usable great conditioned classic car

That is not many miles away from winning show awards.

 

I am only selling as I have no longer have the extra garage space

And already have a MG BGT & Triumph Thunderbird as well as an everyday car.

I have too many. so The Capri is going first!
