This is a beautifully maintained. largely original classic 280SL. One repaint by the previous owner in original White color (Code 50 - "Weiss") with Dark Red top and hubcap accents (Code 542 - "Dunkelrot") as specified on the body tag. The paint presents nicely and the body appears rust-free.

The 2. 8 liter 6 cylinder engine develops 180 horsepower at 5. 50 rpm. giving this 3. 00 pound roadster plenty of power. Driven less than 2. 00 miles average per year since new. Runs beautifully. 4-speed automatic transmission shifts crisply. Mechanically excellent. Great fun to drive.

Original soft top and pagoda hardtop in exceptional condition inside and out. The interior is original MB-Tex in excellent condition. Chrome and wood trim are very good. Pioneer AM/FM/Cassette Stereo with rear speakers added. Overall. a wonderful car that is turn-key ready to drive anywhere.
