1968 Chevy Corvette C3 Stingray Numbers Matching

Nicely restored Corvette with fresh paint in the original and very rare British Green color. GM only made this color in 1968. It looks almost black until direct sun hits it. Fresh carpets and seat upholstery. Runs and drives great. Starts easily every time. Air conditioning works. A/C appears to be original. but I'm not an expert. The engine is original and the numbers can be seen on the block. I've been told it was rebuilt but I don't have any documentation. Trans appears original. but I haven't had an expert confirm it. No rust on the car. Relatively new BF Goodrich tires on rally wheels. Magnaflow exhaust with a nice sound. but not obnoxiously loud.

All of the common problems are currently in working order: Brake calipers have been rebuilt with the O-rings. Headlights work properly with both doors opening and closing. The clock works. Even the windshield washer door opens and closes properly. Power windows work fine although a little slow by today's standards. Speedometer. tachometer. and odometer are all working. The center console gauges (oil pressure. coolant temperature. battery. fuel. clock) were all restored and recalibrated. The radio was replaced with a classic looking modern stereo with a connection for iPhones. mp3 players. etc.

This car is an outstanding drivable classic Corvette as-is. or someone can invest some more time in it and make it into a show car. There are a few minor pieces that still need to be located and fitted: There is a lens missing in the center console for the seat belt warning along with the reset button that goes with it. There is another lens that covers the door ajar and wiper override warning lights (the lights work). On the driver side there is metal trim piece that holds the rear quarter trim tight to the body. That's about all that I am aware of. I've been keeping an eye out in auctions for original parts rather than buying some cheap knock offs. If I find the parts before I sell. I'll include them of course. The cost isn't an issue (less than $100 total). it's finding them. Only 'damage' is a small ding about the size of a quarter on the front bumper.

I welcome and encourage visible inspections. Feel free to bring it to a mechanic of your choice at your expense. Please do so prior to bidding. Car is located in sunny south Florida. Clean title in hand.

I'm open to interesting trades. I'd love a new project. Let me know what you have. Maybe a C2 that needs work. Possibly a C3 convertible and/or 4-speed that needs work. Other American muscle cars.
