1989 Honda Civic Hatchback STD EF No Reserve!

1989 Honda Civic Hatchback STD. 1. 5cyl. 4speed. This car is a bare bones Civic. No power options. No A/C. No power steering. No power windows. ect.

I'll list the bad first:
Bad: Body:Rust. lots of rust. Normal Honda spots. Rear quarters where the bumper meets the body. Rocker panels are rusted(driverside is worse than the passengers). The hood was replaced. needs painted. Rear bumper is not held on by much(strap). This car came from Ohio.  
Drivetrain: Engine did run. Ran great. It sat for a bit and I believe the fuel line under the tank is rusted close. It will start on starting fluid. Engine is original so it only has 157120 miles on it. The trans shifts really smooth however it does need a clutch. Also it will need new CV joints. front brake( rotors&pads). throttle cable(little sticky). battery. This is what I would do to drive this car again.

Interior is so so. Drivers seat is ripped on the side. Passenger and rear seats are in good shape. Door panels are worn. faded from the S. C. sun.  Carpet needs replaced. Everything works inside heater. gauges. ect.

Good: The engine does run really well. I would get around 35-40mpg's. Just need a new fuel lines and fuel pump I believe. Trans shifts smooth. The rear brakes were redone a few years ago. springs. pads and drums. Has new(er) tires on it with good tread. Pioneer CD player.

Clear title. Owners manuals. Two keys

With a little money invested this could become a nice little car for someone. Fixmyrust. com makes the sheet metal parts to repair the rusty spots. Or car can be a parts car for your blown motor or trans.

I replaced the rusted fuel line with a rubber piece just to try to get the car to start. Im not getting fuel to the filter still and I do not hear the fuel pump come on. The relay clicks but I don't hear the pump. So I believe the pump will need replacing along with the fuel lines. Car did crank fine and it sounded like a typical honda cranking.

Also. buyer are asking about shipping. I've never shipped a car but there are many companys available. Buyer MUST set up shipping. I will send both keys with the car and mail the title to the buyer.
