SELLER REMARKS

So you say you love the wild and wonderful T-Bucket. but need to take a few buddies with you to the cruise night? Then check out this trick 4-seater T-Bucket that has all the familiar styling cues with room for four to hit the road.

This car is registered as a 1996 ASPT kit car in Florida. so that will give you a few clues as to where it came from and who built it. Unlike so many modified cars (and a 4-seater T-Bucket qualifies as deviating from the usual recipe). this one has great proportions that might even look better than the usual 2-seater. The styling cues are all there. from the open engine bay to the upright windshield. and towering convertible top. and it's obvious that someone spent a ton of time putting this one together. Painting it eyeball-burning bright yellow with a black stripe was probably unnecessary to grab everyone's attention. but it sure looks good on the outrageous little roadster. particularly with the contrasting black upholstery work. A shiny Model T grille shell ensures that it will always be recognized. and those powerful halogen headlights mean that it's not a liability at night like a lot of old cars. Other neat and useful details include the wind wings. the carriage lights on the cowl. and a matching set of carriage lamps out back for taillights.

All T-Buckets have bare-bones interiors. but this one delivers a classic look with pleated black seats fore and aft. The material is vinyl. which is a smarter choice than leather for an interior exposed to the elements. and it looks quite good. The upright steering column with a wood-rimmed Model T wheel gives you the full experience of the T-Bucket. and the Hurst T-handle shifter falls easily to hand. There's also a custom wooden dashboard full of white-faced VDO gauges that monitor all of the engine's vitals. It's actually quite easy to get comfortable in this car. and even though it's not really designed for cross-country travel. you probably won't get many complaints from passengers. Seat belts are a nice addition in such a minimalist vehicle. as is the full black canvas folding top that provides some weather protection should the elements turn against you at a show. And no. there is no trunk. so perhaps that back seat area can be practical for two. as well.

The engine is a built 355 cubic inch Chevy small block based on a 4-bolt main block. With double-hump heads. forged TRW pistons. and a Comp Cam. it cackles and snorts with genuine horsepower. Being exposed like it is. you know they drenched it in chrome dress-up. including the valve coves and velocity stack air cleaner. which force-feeds the Edelbrock carburetor underneath. Long-tube headers terminating in side pipes is the T-Bucket way. and it's backed by a Muncie 4-speed with a scatterproof bellhousing around a 12-inch clutch. Out back. a 9-inch Ford rear end was narrowed and custom fitted to the T's custom-made 115-inch frame. Traditional wishbones and a transverse leaf spring hold up the front end. while the rear rides on a 4-link with coil-overs. Traditional Cragar wheels with massively staggered 145SR15 front and 29x15. 5-15 Hoosiers out back.

Another unusual. fun. and well-finished rod that isn't the same-old. same-old. but is definitely something that everyone can appreciate. If this is your kind of cruiser. give us a call today!
