For sale. rare 1956 Chevrolet Model 150 "Handyman" Wagon. Excellent condition. very straight. All body parts are original to the car. including the 1956 gold license plates. The color of the car is Porsche's "Mars Red. "
The car is equipped with a 1962 327 cu. in. Chevrolet small block V8 engine. 350 Turbo automatic 3-speed transmission with B&M ratchet shifter and trans cooler. a Pontiac posi rear end. with air shocks. front sway bar. power steering (605). power brakes. tilt wheel. mechanical gauges (temp/oil) and tachometer. Approximately 182. 00 miles. without documentation.
The interior has the original seats (six passenger). upholstered tan vinyl with brown cloth inserts. and brown pile carpeting throughout. Chrome glove box. heater housing and interior windshield moldings. The wheels are from a Chevrolet S10 Extreme. fitted with 16" BF Goodrich T/A Radials. Originally bought in San Luis Obispo. the car has spent its whole life on the Central Coast of California. The car was originally equipped with a straight six cylinder with 3-speed manual transmission. The clutch pedal remains intact. and can be restored to stock specs. Being an original California car. there's only one spot of suspected corrosion at tailgate threshold (see photo). Current owner has had the car for the past 20 years.
