Hello. Up for sale is a beautiful 1958 Chevrolet impala sport coupe with a great running 283 v8 w/4bbl carb. My father bought this car from silver auctions a while back. and probably has seen the light of day 5 times since then. Its just too perfect of a car for him and we are all afraid of scuffing or scratching it. hence the reason we are selling it. We believe this to be a frame on restoration. but I am not totally sure about it not being a frame off. The frame and all undercarriage has been painted. There is 0 rust on this car. and all chrome and trim is in nice condition. Paint is beautiful. This was going to be a show car for him. but never really had the time for that. Everything works as it should except for a problem with the overdrive. I believe there is a solenoid that is bad. Rear mains look to be leaking a little as there is evidence of a small amount of oil on the floor underneath the car. (few drops over the past 3 months since I started it and drove it around). Interior is also beautiful condition. They did a really good job on the door jams and all the gaps seem to be pretty darn close. Doors can be closed with your little finger.  Car has less than 66. 00 original miles on it. It is rainy around here this time of year so I didn't want to take it outside to get pictures of it. but if you need specific pics of something let me know.
