 This is a beautifully crafted 1953 Chevrolet that was all custom built in California. The original owner has spent over $125. 00 in the building of this beautiful hot rod. I have spent close to $75. 00 in engine and drive train modifications to make the car a true drivable 800hp street rod. The engine is a Merlin 540 block with a Weiand 8-71 drive blower with twin Holly 800 double pumpers. The car has never been raced but has been driven locally for my enjoyment and taken to car shows. She has a freshly built turbo 400 transmission. 376 rear gears and the engine has approx 950 miles on her. With the hydraulic lift cam. this car sounds menacing at the stop light and has the ability to deliver the acceleration that you would expect by looking at her. The car has street legal slicks. an upgraded suspension and a nice sound system. I would consider options of lesser value along with cash. This is a real head turner and a reliable street rod that runs on pump gas. There is no exterior chrome on the car. All body fabrication was 100% steel and the interior is all steel custom fabrication. I can send additional pictures on request. The doors open on electric servos and the car has electric windows. Must see and hear to fully appreciate.
