Introduced in ’67 as Chevrolet’s first "Pony Car"; the Camaro was a Mustang fighter from the word go!! The first generation Camaro was manufactured from ’67-’69. but it’s the ’69 that’s widely acknowledged as the Camaro to own and is still pretty much at or near the top of the list of any muscle car aficionado.

The example offered here is one of the rarer ones! Because of a dock strike in ’69. production of the ’69 Camaro was carried over into February of 1970. As a result. this is the highest production Camaro built! But even with 243. 85 units produced. there were only 2018 RPO L34 396/350hp Camaros built in ’69! If you take into account the optional 4-spd transmission and very rare air conditioning. this combination is ultra-rare! This SS features a matching #’s engine. deluxe interior. with console and gauges. power brakes. power steering and of course the rare (and cold) a/c! It’s in excellent. rust free condition. has just been extensively serviced and is ready for summer cruising!
