This car is like one you would see on the show room floor at the local Chevrolet dealer back 1961

Before restoration began. this car was stored in a climate controlled storage facility for many years. This is an original 81. 00 documented miles car.  This car has been completely and professionally frame off restored over a three year period.   There are no welded in after market quarter panels. or patch panels. no welded in floor pans. like other 61 bubble top make over's you've seen here on ebay. Every panel on this car is the factory original. nbsp;virgin steel. free of bondo. lazier straight down the sides. roof. hood. nbsp;doors. fenders and trunk. The frame and anything attached to the frame. nbsp;have been totally dissembled. blasted and powder coated. All brackets. supports and front inner fenders have been powder coated. The body was professionally stripped of the factory original paint. nbsp;then primed with the best primers available. The car is repainted with the original color code 948. Honduras Maroon. PPG Base Coat. Clear Coat. The paint has been professionally color sanded. nbsp; buffed  and polished to a show quality finish. The stainless and chrome components have been polished to a show finish. All new tinted glass. nbsp; seals and weather stripping. New correct and complete interior. as close to factory original as they come. The body lines and gaps are straight in line.   All new brakes. lines. and flex lines have been replaced. The 283 C. I. 4 bbl. carb.  motor is the factory original to this car. The Automatic trans. is not the original. it's been replaced with a more reliable turbo 350 transmission. The original generator has been replaced with an up to date alternator. the old generator and brackets are included in the sale. the 14" steel wheels and original wheel covers are also included in the sale. if wanted.   This is a factory power steering car.   The original jack and spare tire are in place. The doors lock and unlock inside and out.  Everything on this car is completely functional. just as it was back in 1961.   This is a safe and reliable. nbsp;turn key car that can be driven anywhere. anytime. nbsp;with no worries.
