"CHRISTINE"

Beautiful old survivor.   This series 62 4 door hardtop sedan is straight as an arrow. not dented or rusted. has original paint and interior and shows no signs of previous collision repair.   Paint is getting a little thin in some places. you can see the primer underneath.   All stainless is excellent. no dings. and chrome is good. grill is straight and undamaged.    Only one small rust spot in one of the rear door sills. minor and easy fix. that is it. the rest of the body and frame are solid as a rock.   You will be hard pressed to find an old Caddy this straight and solid.   Interior is original and in good condition.   Needs package shelf recovered and top of backseat recovered. original materials are available from online sources. also could use carpet but what is there is serviceable.   The am radio was working but doesn't now. nbsp;also. the fuel gauge and clock are inop but can be fixed easily enough as I would recommend cleaning the fuel tank before taking any extended trips and replacing the sending unit.   She has a 4 speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly and properly.   Her engine purrs like a kitten. uses no oil. and drives out very nicely.   I have replaced the water pump. fuel pump. brake shoes. wheel cylinders. tires. exhaust system. nbsp;installed a pertronix ignition. rotor. cap. coil. nbsp;plug wires and had the power brake assembly rebuilt (not cheap!) and radiator flushed and tested.   I have not tackled the vacuum wiper and washer system. but. it is all there.   I think the mileage is correct. but. have no way to verify.   Have owner's manual and other service publications. This is a great old Caddy that you can enjoy driving while you restore her.   License plates do not go with car.  

 I have title in my name in hand ready to transfer.
