1969 Chevy Chevelle SS CLONE frame off Restoration. NO RESERVE

You are looking at a car that is 95% done and NO EXPENSE SPARED. THIS IS A TRUE SHOW CAR. I bought the car in September of 2008 and since then this is what has been done. The car was stripped down and the rear quarters and the floor pans were professionally replaced. The old BOW TIE was then painted PPG Tuxedo Black with PAINTED White SS stripes. Between body and paint work I spent $13000 (one of the best painters in Houston Texas painted it). Every nut and bolt has been replaced new when the body and trim work was reassembled. The car has a mirror finish and on a 1 to 10 it is a 9. 5. The badging and all the trim pieces are new and all the chrome including the bumpers were dipped. The interior was completely gone through will new door panels. new headliner. carpet and foam in the seats from Big Tonys Chevelles and the seats were re-covered. The car also got a new SS steering wheel. The gentleman I purchased the car from already purchased the engine and transmission. The car has a 454 crate motor with approximately 400HP and it has a Muncie 4 speed. the car has a ten bolt rear end and has the vintage a/c system.   Comes with two sets of brand new wheels and tires one being stock wrapped in brand new BFG's 225/70r 14's and the set on the car are 17'' Foose Legends that are staggered.   The fronts are 235/45zr 17's and the rears are 275/40zr 17's that give the car the awesome stance. The car has factory GM disc brakes on the front and GM drum brakes on the rear.   Has brand new fuel tank and chrome brake booster. alternator. chrome engine kit and chrome fan and MSD ignition. BLING BLING!  New ceramic hooker headers and a rebuilt ten bolt rear end.

Since buying the car I have invested over $35K the mechanic I have used several times in the past is no longer in the business. I haven't been able to find anyone reliable to replace him.   Car needs wiring harness and to be wired up. had the car cranked about six months ago and the car rumbles!! Brakes need to be bled and clutch and pressure plate engaged.   Need to hook up emergency brake and the vintage a/c system is installed but needs to be plumbed.   Have factory console in the trunk (I preferred not to use it).   Car could be done in a few weekends with the right person.   I have tried to list everything I know about the car. if you have further questions please do not hesitate to contact Jason @ 281-652-6358.
