1984 WAS THE FIRST YEAR FOR THE UPGRADED GSL-SE OPTION ON THE RX-7 THAT WAS ONLY BUILT FOR TWO SHORT YEAR 1984-85. THE GSL-SE OPTION THAT HAD SOME UPGRADES AND OPTIONS ONLY AVAILABLE WITH THIS CAR THAT INCLUDED FUEL INJECTED 13B MOTOR. REVISED FRONT AIR DAM LARGER ALLOY WHEELS AND 14" TIRES. LARGER 4-WHEEL DISC BRAKES AND UPGRADED SUSPENSION. WE ALWAYS HAVE OUR EYES AND EARS OPEN FOR UNIQUE/ODD BALLS AND CLEAN ORIGINAL VEHICLES SO WHEN WE GOT THE CHANCE TO SNAG THIS RARE OPTIONED FIRST GENERATION RX7 UP UP FROM THE DODGE DEALER WE JUMPED ON IT!! BODY-   THIS HAS A GORGEOUS WHITE PAINT AND BODY IN THIS ICONIC FIRST GEN BODY STYLE. BRIGHT COLORFUL FINISH WITH A HIGH GLOSS AND DEEP SHINE THAT LOOKS LIKE THE CAR JUST GOT POURED OUT OF A PAINT CAN. ARROW STRAIGHT BODY AND SHEET METAL WITH NO RUST. DENTS. DINGS OR PAINT FLAKING ISSUES.   THIS BODY HAS CLEARLY BEEN PROTECTED. LOOKED AFTER AND HIGHLY LOVED TO RETAIN THIS LEVEL OF CONDITION AFTER 3 DECADES AFTER ALL JUST IMAGINE WHERE YOU WERE 30 YEARS AGO AND ALL YOU HAVE DONE:). ALL GLASS IS ORIGINAL AND IN EXCELLENT SHAPE INCLUDING THE DETACHABLE MOONROOF. BUT THE METAL SUNROOF FILLER IS IN PERFECT SHAPE SO YOU CAN GO EITHER WAY AND THESE ITEMS ARE USUALLY LONG LOST OR DAMAGED AND IT IS GREAT TO SEE BOTH INTACT ALONG WITH THE PROTECT-ANT TRAVEL CASE. THE HEADLIGHTS POP RIGHT UP AND GO DOWN QUICKLY AND AT THE SAME TIME . NICE BLACK TRIM MOLDING AROUND THE CAR WITH VERY MINOR FADING AND AGING IN SOME AREAS THAT CAN BE NOTICED ONCE YOU GET YOU FACE UP CLOSE. IT'S HARD TO DESCRIBE HOW CLEAN THIS CAR IS. BUT IT IS NOT PERFECT AND HAS A FEW MINOR IMPERFECTIONS FROM BEING REGULARLY DRIVEN AND ENJOYED FOR 30 YEARS. BUT IT STILL HAS ITS ORIGINAL BODY PROTECTANT FROM ROCK CHIPS AND ROAD DAMAGE SPRAYED ALONG LOWER PART OF BODY.   ALL AROUND THIS RX7 THE WEAR IS EQUAL AROUND THE WHOLE CAR. SO WE BELIEVE THIS IS ALL OR MOSTLY THE ORIGINAL PAINT. THERE IS SOME SMALL STONE CHIPS ABOUT THE SIZE OF A BALL POINT PEN TIP ON THE LOWER PART OF THE BODY BEHIND THE TIRES. ON WHEEL WELL LIP. ON DOOR EDGES AND ALONG FRONT FASCIA OF THE HOOD. A SMALL ONE INCH SCRATCH ON BOTTOM REAR OF DRIVER FENDER. SOME CHIPPING AND SMALL PAINT DAMAGE AROUND THE DRIVER KEY HOLE. THE FLEXIBLE PLASTIC LOWER FRONT VALANCE UNDER THE BUMPER HAS SOME SCRATCHES FROM MORE THEN A FEW RUN IN WITH THE PARKING CURB THE TOP OF REAR BUMPER HAS SOME AGE CRACKS UNDER THE PAINT . BUT IT STILL FEELS SMOOTH AND IS NOT CHIPPING OR FLAKING. ON DRIVER REAR QUARTER PANEL JUST AFTER DOOR AND ON PASSENGER TOP OF REAR QUARTER PANEL THERE IS SOME VERY TINY AIR BUBBLES NOT RUST BUBBLES UNDER THE PAINT THAT WILL NOT SHOW IN PICS. BUT I WAS ABLE TO GET IT TO SHOW IN THE VIDEO AT THE RIGHT ANGLE AND THERE ARE TWO SMALL VERY FAINT PAINT IMPERFECTION ON TOP MIDDLE OF DRIVER DOOR WHERE THERE IS SOME TINY LITTLE MARKS THAT CAN'T HAVE NO EDGE THAT CAN BE FELT AND ONLY SEEN WHEN YOUR FACE IS LITERALLY ALMOST UP AGAINST THE DOOR AND THEY LOOK LIKE CRACKS ON A EGG SHELL . ALL LIGHTS WORK WITH BRIGHT COLORFUL LENSES. BUT THE REAR TAIL LIGHTS DO HAVE A LITTLE CONDENSATION IN THEM AND AGING WITH SOME FAINT CRACKS AND ONE SMALL CHIP ON THE DRIVER SIDE. THIS IS RX7 IS A INCREDIBLE FIND THAT HAS SURVIVED THE THE LAST 30 YEARS AMAZINGLY. SO THESE MINOR IMPERFECTIONS DON'T FOR A SECOND TAKE AWAY FROM THIS CARS BEAUTY AND IT GETS CONSTANT COMPLIMENTS WITH ITS FACTORY CORRECT ORIGINAL CRISP LOOK AND STANCE. THIS IS A CAR THAT GIVES PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP AND PUTS OUT A ABSOLUTE BLAST OF A DRIVE! INTERIOR- INSIDE THIS LITTLE ROCKETS COCK PIT IT DELIVERS A BLAST OF A RIDE WITH THE BUCKET SEATS THAT FEEL LIKE THEY ARE HUGGING YOU IN PLACE AND PUTTING THE 5-SPEED MANUAL SHIFTER RIGHT INTO YOUR PALM AND THE GAUGES AT NEARLY FACE LEVER WITH THAT 7000 RPM REDLINE AND 140 MPH STARRING YOU IN THE FACE!! THE STEREO IS THE FACTORY ORIGINAL AND IS NOT THE MOST AMAZING BY TODAY'S STANDARDS IT IS STILL NICE TO SEE THE ORIGINAL INTACT AND STANDING TALL AFTER 30 YEARS.   EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE A/C WORKS CORRECTLY. BUT IT BLOWS COOL WITH ALL COMPONENTS OPERATE AS THEY SHOULD. SO THE FREON MAY JUST NEED A FRESHENING TO BREATH ICE COLD AGAIN. THE REAR CARGO AREA HAS THE UNUSED SPARE IN PLACE ALONG WITH THE STRAPS TO HOLD DOWN WHICH EVER ROOF YOUR NOT USING OR BOTH IF YOU HAVE IT PULLED OUT FOR SOME FRESH AIR. THE CARPET AMAZINGLY STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL FLOOR MATS AND THIS IS REALLY THE ONLY AREA THAT SHOWS AGE WITH SOME SLIGHT DARK DISCOLORING THROUGHOUT THE FOOT AREAS AND ENTRY SIDES THAT MAY COME RIGHT OUT WITH A PROPER STEAM DETAIL OR WITH A CAR OF THIS CALIBER AND LOW MILES THE COST OF NEW CARPET IS VERY AFFORDABLE. THE ONLY OTHER MINOR IMPERFECTION IS SOME SMALL SCRATCHES ON THE DASH JUST IN FRONT OF THE SHIFTER ON THE POP OUT ASH TRAY. OVERALL LOOKS INCREDIBLE FOR BEING THIS AGE AND IT DELIVERS A VERY PLEASURABLE DRIVE FROM A SUNNY WEEKEND DAY TO TURNING YOUR STRESSFUL WEEKDAY COMMUTE AROUND:)

  MECHANICAL-  THIS IS A INCREDIBLY CLEAN CAR AROUND THAT 13B MOTOR AND ALL ALONG UNDER THE HOOD. THE PAINT ALONG THE FRONT INNER WHEEL WELLS. FIRE WALL AND UNDER THE HOOD LOOKS ABSOLUTELY NEW WITH BRIGHT WHITE GLOSSY PAINT! ALL DECALS AND DEALER MARKINGS ARE AS CLEAN AND CLEAR AS THEY WERE NEW ALONG WITH ALL PLASTICS. HOSES AND GROMMETS THROUGHOUT THE ENGINE BAY. THIS RX7 ALSO HAS A VERY CLEAN BOTTOM SIDE OF THE BODY. THE MOTOR HAS NO DIRT OR GRIME BUILD UP. THE LEGENDARY AND DEPENDABLE FUEL INJECTED ROTARY MOTOR PULLS STRONG AND DELIVERS A KILLER UN MISTAKABLE SOUND THAT ONLY A MAZDA ROTARY MOTOR CAN DELIVER. I drive all cars at least 50 miles on the hwy and in city to get the fluids warm and everything working. I then check all electrical items. ights pwr motors. etc. I park the vehicles and let them sit minimum of 30 minutes and check for any fluid leaks on the ground. If anything does not work properly I will let you know. Of course I am only human and these are mechanical creatures and these are used vehicles. so please keep this in mind when bidding. This auction is a legal contract and a $350 deposit due within 48 hours and full payment due within 5 days of end of auction. Out of state buyers have a $110 Document Handling Fee. This fee helps cover the expense of paper work involved back and forth. a $83 out of state title fee I have to pay. and a 30 day temporary tag that will also be provided. This fee applies to all buyers. including other dealers. In state buyers have to pay all state license and sales tax of 8. 9% of the sale price. and a $65 document fee
