Car has a brand new professionally installed white vinyl top as of 1/17/2014.
Chassis Only kept the frame and front spindles and they were professionally sandblasted inside and out. Everything else thrown in the trash. All parts have been replaced with aftermarket upgrades. Chassis was built with best possible handling in mind but still has good ride comfort and no objectionable bumps or rattles. Very flat cornering. quick steering with good feedback. Very predictable grip and easy to drive agressively with confidence.
FRONT SUSPENSION Eibach Pro 1" lowering springs Bilstein shocks UMI tubular lower control arms SPC/Savitske adjustable length upper control arms with greasable solid bushings Howe Racing extra tall upper and lower screw-in ball joints (corrects factory suspension geometry - improves negative camber gain and reduces bump steer) GM 12. 7:1 quick ratio steering box (Monte Carlo SS option) Helwig 1-5/16 tubular sway bar with upgraded heavy duty end links F-41 three piece frame braces Double U-joint steering shaft (eliminates rubbery rag joint for improved steerign feel and quicker response to steering inputs) Braided stainless steel flexible brake hoses Front end aligned to specifications more like a road course race car Rebuilt factory front brakes with Hawk Performance pads to allow use with 15" factory chrome wheels. Haven't found larger brakes to be necessary.
REAR SUSPENSION RideTech height adustable coil overs (some pictures show seperate springs and shocks. That was early in the build) Spohn Del-Sphere adustable length upper and lower control arms Helwig adjustable Pro-Touring type sway bar (ends mount to frame instead of control arms to prevent suspension bind) Braided stainless steel flexible brake hose
Frame has been fully boxed for stiffness with thick 12 gauge steel plate. Plates drilled with lightning holes for weight reduction.  G-Force double hump transmission crossmember Extra crossmember added between rear bumper and gas tank for frame stiffness Polyurethane body mount bushings All of the hardware and small brackets have been bright zinc plated for corrosion protection

TRANSMISSION 200-4r 4 speed overdrive. It has the Hurst Lightning Rod shifters which allow shifting like a sequential manual transmission or leave it in fully automatic mode.  Trans professionally built and upgraded to handle engines power level (Heat treated hard parts. aftermarket servos. carbon fibre bands. shift kit. etc. ) 2000 RPM stall converter for good street manners but still lively performance.
