Engine # 900971 Paint #6206 Originally Solex equipped 2. 0 liter displacement manufactured in March 1965

Originally a California car

Has never been driven on winter roads started and moved weekly during winter storage

Engine completely rebuilt in April 1989 at 133. 80 miles

by John Howe. Santa Barbara. Ca new bearings 2. 2 liter cylinders/ pistons Carrera tensioners/ external cam oiling Weber carburetor conversion Transmission also rebuilt at this time

Master cylinder and flex line replaced April 1989

Rear trailing arm bushings replaced May 1989

Voltage regulator replaced May 1991 at 143. 06 miles

Tie rod end boots replaced January 1992

Right ball joint replaced January 1992

Front disc brake calipers rebuilt August 1996

Front wheel bearing seals replaced August 1996

Motor mounts replaced August 1996 at 149. 00 miles

New paint completed May 1998- paint is #6206

the first two digits represent the year and the 06 in 1965 would have been green 6202 was silver used on 356 Porsches so perhaps this was a special order Vin# and paint plate inside the driver's door is stamped #6206 Farbtown This car was completely stripped and repainted with the #6206 paint formula .   This was supplied by the restoration division of Stoddard Imports in Willoughby. Ohio
