Hi and welcome to my auction for my beloved ford capri 1. 6 calypso. i have owned the car for 18 months. but due to going travelling my baby has to go. its a very original and tidy car. having covered only very low mileage due to being dry stored for a fair amount of its life. previous owner had recommissioned it and i have improved on it since. its had the gearbox refurbished. the rear axle has been completely polybushed. it has had a new gasket  and has been cleaned and painted. along with the prop. and the front suspension. ts had new springs and shock absorbers all round. the rear brakes are all brand new. and i have just had the engine serviced. and the carburettor tuned.  as far as i know the engine has a much better twin choke carb fitted from the 2. 0 pinto. this makes it a far nicer car than one with a VV.  cosmetically the car has chrome bullet mirrors fitted along with revolution 4 spokes fitted with nankang tyres i purchased a pair of pressed steel plates for it. span > it is also lowered roughly 1 inch.  As with any car of this age there is a few small scabs on the rear arches.   there is also a slight dent in the front panel which can be seen in the pics. but all things considered it is absolutly nothing.  the engine is in fine working order. and it also has thicker race plug leads and a filter king adjustable fuel pressure filter fitted. Finally. the interior is immaculate and all original bar a momo gear knob fitted. the seats are like brand new with no wear or sagging to the bolsters. it even has the original 2 button push radio.   this is a very tidy usable classic car. which turns alot of head wherever it goes! due to the 1. 6 engine would make an ideal first classic ford! a most regrettable sale.  Good luck and happy bidding.
