SELLER REMARKS

Customs are expensive. right? All that artistic paint work. the attention to detail. the jaw-dropping finish quality? It costs big money. doesn't it? Well. perhaps for the guy that does all the work. but you're in luck with this 1984 GMC C1500 pickup. where someone else already dropped all the cash so you can slide in for pennies on the dollar. Just imagine showing up at the cruise night with THIS truck as your ride!

There's no avoiding it. so let's just get right to that paint job. One. it's spectacular. and two. it's not obnoxious. Sure. flames aren't exactly subtle. but the colors are well-chosen and won't go out of style in two years like other cutting-edge customs. Finish quality is quite good and the paint alone probably cost more than we're asking for the entire truck. Those hot licks were buried under the clear. so they'll look great practically forever and the details reveal a pro at work. not someone working out of their home garage. The rest of the bodywork is stock. but when you're one of the best-looking pickups of the past 40 years. there's really no need to change things up too radically. The bed has a color-matched spray-in bedliner. just in case you'd like to do a little hauling in your new hauler. and bright chrome bumpers and mirrors make a classic styling statement that really works.

The interior gets a few custom touches. too. which gives this GMC a very complete look. The diamond-pleated seat cover is an industrial-strength piece that looks great with the overall theme and probably wears like iron. too. Shiny aluminum pedals add a little flash to the all-black interior. and a trio of white-faced Auto Meter gauges were stuffed into the original dash like they were designed to fit there. The odometer shows 76. 98 miles and we believe that to be authentic. so given the durability of these trucks. you should be able to enjoy it for years to come. There's also a newer Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo in the dash that sounds great in the single cab.

For power. it brings a rugged. reliable. and powerful 350 cubic inch V8. which in the relatively lightweight 1500 pickup. delivers entertaining performance. It's detailed with a few chrome dress-up pieces and includes power steering and brakes. so it's easy to drive around town. You'll note that the inner fenders were tossed in order to get that slammed stance. but the stock A-arms remain so it's still OEM tough. The original exhaust manifolds feed a modified stock exhaust system which uses a catalytic converter and a dump pipe just ahead of the rear axle to give it a racy soundtrack. Drop spindles and springs give it the perfect stance without critically wounding its ability to still carry a load now and again. The brake drums have been painted to match the flames. so they really stand out. particularly through the spokes of those massive 20-inch Eagle alloy wheels. which wear 255/35/20 front and 295/40/20 rear Falken performance radials.

A slick entry-level custom. this truck is ready to enjoy as-is. or is merely the wrapper for something extraordinary. Put your own spin on it and have the hottest truck on the street for pennies on the dollar. Call today!
