1970 Corvette. driver condition. Could easily be show quality with a good paint job. Paint is in good condition but not perfect. original  color of Donnybrook green. There is a small chip in the door and a couple of bubbles where I think moisture may have gotten under the paint on the rear deck lid. Radio antennae needs replacing. Like I said. not perfect but very presentable and drivable. The interior is in very good condition. no rips. tears or other major issues. The motor. originally a 350 small block. 350 hp from the factory. has less than 1000 miles on it since it was rebuilt. The rebuild was done by Macbetts. a professional race shop. It was done close to original specs. ow about 375 hp. with a little bigger cam and setup to burn lower octane fuel with no problems. The ignition was replaced with Pertonix parts. making it electronic instead of the old breaker point and condensor style. Much better setup than original factory but still looks like factory distributor. The exhaust is custom built. welded with flowmasters. sounds great. New radiator from Dewitts radiator. all aluminum with a custom electric fan and shroud setup. Works much better than original radiator and motor fan setup. Never a worry about overheating even on the hottest days in summer. Power steering replaced with more modern setup. much more responsive than original factory setup. more like a race car. tight and responsive. no leaky cylinder involved. Motor and transmission are original to the car. Came from factory with AC. I removed those parts and didn't replace them after the motor rebuild. much easier to work under the hood without them and really no need for AC with the top down. Comes with two tops. hard top is in good shape. soft top needs material replaced. frame is fine. All in all a fun car to drive and with new paint could be a great show car. In 1970 General Motors went on strike for the first half of the year so they only made the 1970 Corvettes for half the year hence making them a bit more rare due to the limited production. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I can assist in loading or can deliver within a 100 mile radius for a nominal fee. Please feel free to come and look before you bid.
