1956 Chevrolet Bel Air

This is a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door post. The car has just gone through a frame-off rotisserie restoration and is close to brand new throughout. The passenger compartment floors. including body to frame mounts. and the trunk floor are new.

Engine and drive train: engine is a brand new 290HP GM crate 350 w/warranty. Transmission is a freshly rebuilt TH350 w/warranty. Underneath the hood. you will find a high capacity aluminum radiator with original cooling fan and an auxiliary electric fan. The electric fan has a cut-off switch. The rear end is a stock. but rebuilt 1955-56 rear. New axles were installed. as well as all new bearings. including the "chunk" or third member. It is 3. 08 gearing. Please note the "dress up" items: chrome pulleys. polished intake manifold. polished valve covers. polished carburetor cover. etc. Headers and dual exhaust are also included with Flowmaster mufflers. Carburetor: Holley Street Avenger with in-line fuel pressure guage.

Paint and body: The paint is a gorgeous. glass smooth 2 stage GM code 70 Torch Red. Underneath the hood and trunk lid. and underneath the car (the floor. etc. ) is painted to match. Electric in-line fuel pump is on the outside of the passenger side frame rail. along with the brake lines and the wiring for the pump. The pump has under dash cut-off switch. All trim is either new or refurbished. The bumpers. front and rear. and the grill are new.   New hood bird and Chevrolet emblems. Custom bullet headlights.

Frame: The frame was media blasted and painted factory black. All frame mounts. nbsp;pads. bushings and bolts are new. The front end is completely rebuilt with new parts. The brakes. disc up front are new and the drums in the rear. are completely rebuilt. The front end is dropped 2" by way of dropped spindles. The power master cylinder and proportioning valve are new. All brake lines are new. Gas lines are new. The gas tank is new.

Wheels and Tires: The wheels are 18 X8 inch Revs. front and rear and the tires are Kuhmo Ecsta 245/45/R18. front and rear. Brand new. no wear.

Interior: The interior is an ultra leather custom interior. including custom headliner and console. Custom floor mats. front and rear. are included. The dash is painted to match the exterior of the car and has. either. reconditioned trim or new parts. as needed. The stock guages were reconditoned and all are in good working order. The speedometer was rebuilt and taken to zero miles. A built-in CD. AM/FM stereo radio was installed in the console. The car has after market heat and air conditioning. Custom steering wheel. The interior includes front bucket seats. with full power electric on the driver's side. Seat belts are provided for the front (bucket) seats.

This car is ready to go.

I have added four additional pictures. A couple may be redundant. but a view of the rear seat is added. plus a later version of the engine bay. This additional engine bay picture shows a new battery (replaces our shop battery shown in the original pic). 1955-56 stock style battery hold down bracket and the completed electric fan installation.
