For sale is my Austin 7 Ruby MK1 Deluxe Saloon.
Its the big sunroof and chromed bumper version. Year of manufacture was 1934. I have had to re-register it because it came to me with no paper work. now it has a modern V5C. Mileage is 12000. I do not know whether its gone around because no previous records. however before being restored. it was in good condition so I believe the 12000 to be genuine.  I have just completed restoring it but due to the fact that I am starting another project I feel I wouldn't use the Ruby as much as it deserves so am offering another enthusiast the chance to enjoy her.
A summery of the restoration. ebuilding the engine - she will still need running in as I've only had the chance to drive around 30 miles. Interior has had a revamp. this included brand new headlining. carpets. door cards. all the leather upholstery excluding seats were re-done (a small amount of Vinyl was used). dash and door sills have been wood effect scumbled to match original and front seats have been re-padded.
During restoring it. I've tried my best to keep things as close to original as possible and I have a whole folder full of receipts amounting to almost £2000.
The car drives spot on with no faults or odd noises. selects gears fine.  
She starts easily after a few manual pumps on the fuel pump on the starter and the handle. Once she is warm. starts on the button.  
I've added in a discrete cut out switch to act as a security feature.
A new paint job would make the car look absolutely stunning unfortunately due to the winter. I have not been able to do this and times ran out for me.  
The Doug Woodrow seven 'Bible' also comes with the car along with the published spares list.
