1976 Porsche 911S Widebody Turbo for sale
Current customer rating: (296 votes ) based onI have a '76 911s Turbo That has a steel widebody on it. Picked up the car with the impression that it needed to be tuned to be brought back to life. Car started fine and I was able to drive around the block without any issues. just running really rich. After investigating an oil leak. I found piston rings in the sump strain. So I put the car to the side and started to search for an engine. At this point. I am running low on time to put into the car and I need to move it along. The car is complete with engine and transmission but the engine will need to be repaired. Here are some more details:
Body:
Body is solid. not a bit of rust and no accident damage straight as can be. Floors super clean and belly pan is perfect. Underside of the car is dent free as well.
--non-sunroof car
--Steel widebody front/rear flares. Widebody was completed around '77-78 by Stoddard Porsche. It is not a factory widebody
--964 front/rear plastic bumpers and GT2 glass deck.
--Wheels are genuine RUF Speedlines 9/10x17.
--Aero mirrors
--Paint is not perfect. but shows really well. original color appears to be a lighter yellow.
--Electrical components are all in working order
Interior:
--Black leather Carrera power seats.
--New black carpet
--RS door panels
--Momo steering wheel. pedals. shift/e-brake knob
--Headliner is in excellent condition
--White face gauges rebuilt by North Hollywood
--Have AC compressor and bracket off car right now. all other AC stuff is still in car
Suspension/brakes:
--Has Bilstein HDs all 4 corners
--As far as I know. stock torsion bars
--944 turbo brakes. 23mm master cylinder
--Drilled rotors
Engine:
Engine is a 2. 7 converted to a turbo. it is not a factory turbo engine. It is not running right now. I pulled the left timing case off to take care of an oil leak and thats when I found the rings in the sump strain. That is when I stopped the project. I started to pull the motor. only disconnected a few things.
--2. 7 with intercooled turbo setup and EFI (Mega-Squirt)
--930 intercooler
--MSD ignition box with programmable timing box.
--Stainless heat exchangers.
--Carrera tensioners
--Turbo valve covers
--Raj-Jay turbo. BAE turbo kit
--915 gearbox believed to have been rebuilt around 2000
