This truck is being offered for sale from the original owner who ordered this vehicle new to his specifications of a stripped down, no frills work truck to use for their business. Throughout it's life this truck has been extremely well cared for and once it's services were no longer required as a shop truck the owner had the vehicle completely repainted. Powered by a trusty 4.9L 6-Cylinder engine that sends the power to the rear-wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. The vehicle is finished in a vibrant red paint job that presents well with some imperfections and blemishes throughout. The interior of this Ford features a gray vinyl bench seat and as ordered from the factory, has the headliner removed and no interior carpet. Currently showing just over 117,000 miles on the odometer this well maintained F-150 still has plenty of life left.
The ninth generation of the Ford F-Series is a lineup of trucks that were produced by Ford from the 1992 to 1998 model years. The final generation of the F-Series to include a complete range of trucks from a half-ton F-150 pickup truck to a medium-duty F-800 commercial truck, this is the third generation of the F-Series body and chassis introduced for 1980.
To improve the aerodynamics of the exterior, the front fascia underwent a substantial revision to its design. The FlareSide bed design made its return, following a substantial change in its design.
