A True One Owner 1974 Lincoln MKIV

This was brought to me by the son of the woman that purchased this car in 1974 right here at Fred Jones. Tulsa. OK. He got to back it off the showroom and drive it home. Before he brought the car to me. he replaced the gas tank. looked at the brakes and we drove it from his warehouse 7 miles to my office. The car is totally original. The paint. interior under hood. everything. No paintwork. runs and stops well. The AC is not performing right. but the engine and trans perform nicely. Before I flew in to drive it home. I would go over the car from stem to stern replace the water pump as its weeping. all the belts and hoses and replace the spark plugs. The headlights work properly. come up in about two days of sitting. This car has a new battery always fires right up the first time. Finished in white with white/brown leather and a burgundy vinyl top. an original car like this is hard to find. I have the owner's manual and some records. I will get with the owner to see what other docs are available.
I have had several people ask about the trailer hitch on the front. Good question. it was installed to pull the company airplane out of the hanger with a tow bar.
