1958 Chevrolet Impala for sale
Current customer rating: (36 votes ) based onYou could almost call this 1958 Chevrolet Impala a time machine. The exterior has an extra bright style and plenty of chrome, and the interior is vintage, right down to the AM radio. But under the hood, the classic big block V8 is now fueled by a modern electronic fuel injection system so that this classic can remain a true cruiser.
There has been a lot invested in this car, and it starts with the paint. The upgrade to pristine white is genuinely award-worthy. It makes the kind of first impression that gives you nostalgia for the '50s. But it's more than just the color that has your attention. The car is a visual delight with awesome details everywhere you look. Check out the chrome grille that runs from end-to-end that is the hallmark of this single-year design. The sides have full-length chrome trim. And starting in the rear quarters, there's a crease in the sheet metal that seamlessly wraps around the taillights for an appearance like tailfins turned on their side - a very cool iconic touch. All this brightwork is essential for the '58 Impala's style, and it's all present and shining. This includes the factory stylized wheel covers (and do you see how whitewalls coordinate with the paint for an impressive total package?!) There were even the right cool cruiser upgrades like the rear wheel covers and a full continental kit added. So you know some real effort and money was spent getting this big Chevy right.
Tri-tone interiors were the Impala's calling card, and the gray, black, and turquoise is a nicely restored example of a factory package. Everything from the bright insert in the door panel to the taut headliner appears nicely preserved, if not brand new. The level of investment shows off in the quality of the little things, like the crystal clear gauges and feel of the cloth inserts of the seats. So you'll happily roll down all the windows on this pillarless hardtop to show off the interior. In fact, all the little details you love are working, like the dome light, dash clock, and the AM radio that's still cranking out tunes. There are even great 1950s accessories, like the dash-mounted stoplight viewer and the Chevrolet logo branded tissue box holder. So if you were trying to check every option box at the Chevy dealer in 1958, this Impala is what that car would look like.
Another big option that a premium Impala could get from Chevrolet in 1958 was the debut of the 348 cubic-inch big block. This V8 even has the casting numbers for '58m and so it's great to have this one looking so correct and tidy. But as you dig just a little deeper, you can really see the upgrades. The carburetors were recently traded in for an MSD Atomic electronic fuel injection system. There's also an Edelbrock intake, MSD 6AL ignition, and an aluminum radiator. It makes for a terrific package of upgraded consistency and usability. So the V8 fires up readily and runs smoothly. And because this wants to be a proper cruiser you get easy anytime features like a Powerglide automatic transmission, coil spring rear suspension, rear sway bar, power steering, and power brakes.
You love the paint; you love the interior; and you lust after the fuel-injected big block. That's what makes this classic Impala so special. And with nice '58 hardtops becoming harder and harder to find, don't let this single-year coupe slip away. Call today!!!

We recognize the need for complete transparency when buying/selling vehicles on eBay. That said, we did not build, modify, or have the luxury of personal ownership that would give us the advantage of knowing all unknown aspects of each vehicle. Transparency is king and we're happy to try and answer ALL questions our customers might have prior to purchasing. Additionally, we welcome and encourage independent inspections (see Inspection statement below).
FEES: A documentation fee of $299 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale. Sale price does not include any Title, License, Registration, State or Local Taxes or Processing Fees. We recommend you familiarize yourself with your individual state's taxes, transfer, or additional fees.

Vehicles may be sold prior to eBay listing end, and we reserve the right to end listings early or to cancel bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.
CONTACT: Note that you may hear from us after to the sale, but if you are a winning bidder, click a Buy-It-Now, or we accept your eBay Offer, it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours.
INSPECTION: VERY IMPORTANT. If a buyer chooses to buy sight unseen (many of our buyers choose this option) the buyer accepts the vehicle AS-IS and understands we cannot address concerns post sale. For this reason, it's important all concerns are addressed prior to purchase. We make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale.

DRIVE IT HOME: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip.
