1966 Ford Mustang for sale
Current customer rating: (37 votes ) based onA six-figure, ground-up restoration that was completed by Summerville, South Carolina's CMX Customs by Vinnie, this thoroughly massaged Mustang stacks solid sheetmetal behind aggressive detailing that walks a fine line between polished street rod and classic muscle car. Instead of donning traditional, non-metallic paint, the car features rich House Of Kolor Shimrin Kandy Root Beer two-stage that's incredibly dynamic. And it all adds up to one head-turning thoroughbred that's ready to strain necks and poised to drop jaws! Hoist this coupe's custom hood and you'll find five liters of Ford Performance Coyote motor that howls to an easy 460 horsepower. Behind that mill, a tough Science Friction Street Slayer clutch kicks a trusty Tremec 6-speed, which spins a quality Strange 9-inch. That drivetrain rides a precise Art Morrison chassis, which cages adjustable QA-1 coil-overs in two rounds of tubular control arms. Tight turns twirls through power rack-and-pinion steering. Beefy Baer calipers cinch 11-inch drilled and slotted rotors in front of 9-inch drilled and slotted rotors. And power meets the pavement through handsome Schott Venoms, which spin big Pirelli P Zeros. Swing this Ford's slicked doors and you'll find a classy custom cockpit that wraps unique show car style around a choice combination of technology and leather. Front and center, short buckets trace a custom, full-length console that's complete with a short shifter, pushbutton ignition and controls for Vintage Air conditioning. A custom, wood-trimmed dash hangs clean Dakota Digital VHX telemetry above crisp Pioneer touchscreen audio. And the driver carves curves through a color-keyed Billet Specialties Formula wheel, which laps a tilting Ididit column. Looking for some one-of-a-kind muscle that explores the full potential of the collector car hobby? Call, click or visit and claim your next classic!

About the RK Motors Performance Center
Regardless if your vehicle is going through routine maintenance or a full custom build to your exact specifications, the RKM Performance Center has the knowledge, experience and resources to fulfill your automotive needs.
In the world of electronic fuel injection and computer diagnostics, even late model dealerships look a little uncomfortable working on pre-OBD1 cars. There are many independent mechanics and shops that may be able to help, but putting your prized classic in the hands of a stranger is a leap of faith at best.
This is exactly why we created the RKM Performance Center.
Being proud members of SEMA, ARMO, HRIA and the North Carolina Motorsports Association, the RKM Performance Center is a nationally recognized shop; best known for high-level OEM restorations and custom builds.
Comprised of ASE certified mechanics, including several Master Technicians, you can feel confident that your car is in capable hands. As fellow enthusiasts, they are passionate about cars and will treat yours with the respect it deserves.
