Here we have a 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible for sale. This is a factory ordered A Code Convertible that has undergone a meticulous restoration. If you're looking for a drop top Mustang that has all the looks paired with all the options you love, then look no further. This '66 will have you cruising back in time while make new memories that will last forever. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of this Ford but first we would like to tell you a little about us.Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. When you walk around it there's no denying the time and effort put into delivering one of the nicest ones on the road. You can see that the panel fit is stunning and that all the gaps are even and symmetrical. It's showcased by the Signalflare Red paint that was redone in base coat clear coat, and it was wet sanded, buffed and polished out to a mirror finish that's slick as ribbon. It's accented by the gold pin stripping down the sides along with having the rocker molding that's beautiful. The rest of the trim and stainless is all equally impressive and has a brilliant shine. Both the front and rear bumpers look to have been replaced at the time of the restoration. Every piece of glass is gorgeous with the side glass going up and down with ease. This '66 features the power convertible top that is done in black. It also has the Black boot to match for when the top is down. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 14" Styled Steel Wheels with Coker Redline Tires.Next, we will look at the interior of this Convertible. On the inside it's done in the Luxury Black that flows perfectly with the exterior color combo. It features the buckets seats and console that houses the Automatic Shifter. This Mustang comes with the pony covers that were redone at the time of the restoration and are in phenomenal condition along with all the padding. The door panels are equally impressive and have an excellent fit. The console features the wood grain accent that ties in perfectly to glove box and gauges. Speaking of the dash we can see that it is all in excellent condition from the pad to the gauges. This Mustang has the wood steering wheel as well. All the carpet in it was replaced at the time of the restoration as well. Inside the trunk is all rock solid and it's detailed out with the spare and trunk mat. Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood it's powered by the 289 4 Barrel Engine which is correct for it as it is a factory A Code car. All the inner fenders are rock solid along with the frame. We can see that it's been detailed out like it would have been from the factory with the blue engine color and painted valve cover along with the stock air cleaner. This '66 comes equipped with Power Steering along with Power Brakes. For exhaust it has manifolds with the single pipe and factory style muffler outback. When you look under this Convertible you are sure to be impressed as everything is solid and in great condition. All of the suspension is excellent which you can feel as your are cruising on the highway. The 289 runs through the C4 Automatic Trans and factory style rear end. On the highway the 289 performs excellent and the C4 shifts out smooth. This A Code Mustang will have you wanting to cruise it everywhere. Terms & Conditions

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.

Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
