Dorian is a beautiful classic Mercedes sedan. In almost as new condition. Reliable. Stunning.

Anthracite gray metallic original paint code 172G. It's an extremely gorgeous color combo. Pics don't do the car justice.

The car is a two owner vehicle with service records, original booklets, registration records etc. 

Documented miles. The car has been sitting in non op status for years so it feels like a step back in time. Amazing feeling car.

The price on the car is based on the rarity, condition, color, miles, original wheels, service records and Nada and Hagerty valuation guide. You will not see one as clean as this. It doesn't get much better. This year of production, built in last quarter of 1983 and rolled out of the factory in Germany to be shipped to California, is hailed by W123 collectors as the best year for this car. It is an original California car with no undercarriage rust, no leaks and with everything working.

Please note I have retained the original blue California license plates AND 2nd owner title issued in 1998! Adding value to the car. Effectively you will the titled as the third owner.

Insurance is unbelievably cheap with collector car insurance. If you are buying this car and are not familiar with this type of automobile insurance you should look into it. (State Farm,Hagerty, JC Taylor, Chubb, Grundy)

Bumpers show no chrome wear or scuffing one scrape on rear bumper and a ding behind the rear license plate (see pics)

Doors shut like a vacuum - clunk... that Mercedes engineering air pocket thump when the door shuts

Grill as new with inserts and chrome showing almost zero age

Suspension and shocks are A1

Steering feels great with power assist in factory condition - no play at all

Alignment is straight as an arrow

Motor starts right up

Car started immediately & had been sitting for months

No smoking exhaust, blow by or issues 

Motor purrs - car runs cool in traffic

Glass is perfect

Spare tire wheel is original 

Tires are brand new with 100% tread 

First Aid never opened

All emblems in tip top condition

Hood ornament showing no age at all... chrome looks beautiful

Windows in front and rear working

Sunroof operational

Rear window defrost operational

Door locks work - vacuum is good 

Trunk lock works as it should controlled by drivers door key as does the rest of the door lock system.

Wipers working & new

All turning signals and lights including updated white fog working great (one fog light has a crack on the lens but it IS original)

Interior lights including trunk, engine, visor, glove compartment and rear all work

All switches work everywhere

All dash switches working except variable switch to dim the interior accessory lights 

Dashboard looks great with no cracks at all or any age showing with slight crack starting next to passenger speaker

Rear deck is showing no color fading (separation of stitching one one side but not noticeable)

Front and rear MB Tex seats also in new condition complete in every way 

Rear seat belts look like they were hardly used

Carpet throughout looks great with no signs of wear including on the drivers side floor

Headliner is in close to new condition 

Speakers working 

Radio is a Sony aftermarket with a remote - original radio is also available if you want it remind me if you buy the car

Fader switch for front and rear speakers on shift panel is A1

Antenna is also as new and works as it should

Hazard switch illuminating as it should with the hazards working

Parking brake pedal works 

Door panels look amazing and are complete with material covered rubber trim

Wood is in absolutely amazing condition

Glove compartment opens, shuts with slide lock mechanism

AC works and blows ice cold with center vents working

Climate control is working 

Heat works

Defrost works

Seats look beautiful - no signs of wear

Seat adjustment and handles to adjust seats are intact and work as they should

Seat back netting tight

Front seat belts work great

Floor pedals are showing next to no wear

Dash controls all work

Oil Pressure, clock, trip meter, odometer and gas gauge all working

Warning lights for brakes, seatbelt, headlights, hi-beam and battery working

Transmission is shifting smooth and strong

Wiper arm and knob working as it should

Brake release and hood release work great

Hood liner is in great condition

Trunk liner also in nice condition as is the carpet 

Seat recliner turning knob working and looking fine

Horn works too... quite a unique sounding horn
