The GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible for your
consideration. This vehicle underwent a complete restoration under current ownership, and
unfortunately was only enjoyed for a handful of miles following completion due to the owner's
passing. Offered in immaculate condition, this Mustang is finished with the stunning color
combination of Vintage Burgundy over a Parchment interior. The exterior of this vehicle is in
great condition with the paint and brightwork free of imperfections. The leather and interior
surfaces of this vehicle are free of signs of wear. Powered by the desirable 289ci V8 paired with
a 3-speed automatic transmission this Mustang is built to cruise and look good while doing it.
This Mustang features the rare options of body colored fender skirts, that are not permanent if
the next owner wishes to remove them. Some further unique features on this Mustang are the
horseshoe bumper guards and illuminated front grill logo. This Mustang is currently showing just
17,568 miles on the odometer.

The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March 1964 until 1973. The
introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The
Mustang's styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of
competition. It was initially introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible with the
fastback version put on sale in August 1964. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing
its platform with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment. With each revision, the
Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and in engine power.
