This 1987 L6 BMW has been a project car for me for over 10 years. It has always been a S. Florida car that has been garaged since my ownership in 2008. The Bimmer has many upgrades including BMW Model 750 brakes for ultimate stopping ability, all new Fuel Injectors throughout, new Gas Tank & Fuel pumps (2) and a new radiator. This restoration includes the interior has been restored, has new carpet and the engine and transmission run great. I added the aerodynamic front and rear bumper and side skirts, rear wing, and staggered rims from a 750. The engine intake has been upgraded to the cold-air intake. All lights are functional and so is the power sunroof.The front seats have upgraded to manual Recaro seats. The switches are from the original seats which I do not have. There is a soft drink compartment between the rear seatsThe air conditioner was working when I purchased it but has not been recharged and is not blowing cold. Left rear window does not go down, I think it the switches. The car has a couple minor imperfections typical for an 35 year old car but the car still gets compliments everywhere I take it. The car as presented has approx. 123,400 miles. I did purchase a rebuilt Instrument Cluster that was upgraded to white gauges, and after installation it was found to be non-functional for the Tack, Odometer, & speedometer. The original Instrument cluster shows 120,406 miles and since installing the white gauge cluster I've put about 3,000 miles on the car. I don't have the time to swap the cluster back out. I kept all receipts on the car since my ownership.This classic 1987 BMW is great touring coupe that I hope someone will enjoy as much as I have. This pristine L6 will be a great addition to anybody that enjoys classic cars.
