1937 Ford Pick up truck. Runs great. No matter where the truck goes it attracts lots of attention. even driving down the highway. cars would slow down to take a look. The truck was driven 250 miles to the Lakeland Drag strip for the Billett Proof drags. then driven home the same day. with no issues.

This is a true one of a kind truck that is safe and has no issues.
Truck has a clear Florida title in my name.
I am sure that I have missed numerous details that make this truck special.

Please email me thru Ebay with any questions.

Listed below are the parts used to build this truck.

BODY:
1938 grill shortened. 1937 Cab. new floors. new firewall. transmission hoop installed. Doors are suicided with hidden hinges and bear claw latches. with a hidden release outside.
Body is shaved. with a mild channel over the frame.

Headlights are original 1936 Ford Bug Eye lenses. with no rust or dents on custom made stands.
Bed is custom made out of 16 gauge steel with torque tube tops and a square tube floor to expose the Franklin Quick-change rear end.

1959 Caddy taillights have been mounted to the rear of the torque tubes.
Dash is a 1954 Ford Crestliner that has been modified to fit in the cab nicely.
Fuel tank is a 16 gallon stainless steel beer keg.
Original Banjo steering wheel.
All glass is tempered. door windows work as they should.
Cab will need minor body work and repaint. for some reason paint is starting to blister.

FRAME:
Frame is custom made. out of 2" x 4" x 1/8" square tube. approximately 50 lightning holes were installed and then sleeved. Frame was sandblasted and painted with PPG epoxy primer and then House of Colors metal flake was sprayed on. The frame is Z'd 8" in the front and 12" in the rear.

SUSPENSION:
Front suspension is a 1936 Ford 60hp tube front axle that has been suicided (very rare axle). Front shocks are friction shocks that are custom made.
Rear suspension is leaf-spring with tube shocks and a Franklin Quick-change rear end with a final gear ratio of 3:50/1.
1956 GMC steering box was rebuilt and modified for cowl steering.
Front wheels are 1950 Ford Truck with Coker whitewall tires. rear are steel wide 5 wheels with Coker tires. Tires are in good shape with plenty of tread left.

MOTOR:
1954 De Soto 276 Hemi. Motor was rebuilt about 6 years ago when truck was built and has under 6. 00 miles. The motor was bored 0. 30" over. crank was turned 0. 10". all new internals were installed. High volume 340 oil pump was installed also at that time. New water pump and harmonic balancer was also installed.
A specially modified Don Zig prepped racing vortex magneto gives the spark.
A log intake was fabricated using 6 holley 94 carbs.
Zoomie headers were fabricated. each tube has it's own baffle as an attempt to not attract unwanted attention. :)
A Carter electric fuel pump is used.
An aluminum 2 row radiator with a 16" electric fan keeps it nice and cool on those hot Alabama days.
Transmission adapter from Hot Heads was used and a high torque late-model starter.
Cast aluminum skull air cleaners with stainless steel screens.

TRANSMISSION:
Monster transmission built a 700R4 transmission for the truck during the build. The torque converter lock-up is wired and works great.
Using this transmission on the highway and with the final drive of 3:50/1. I had gotten approximately 18 MPG at around 65MPH.

REAR-END:
Franklin Quick-change from an old dirt track car. had been disassembled and inspected. axles were shortened to fit the truck. As stated the final gear is 3:50/1.

BRAKES:
Stock front brakes with drilled backing plates have been used. Rear brakes are disc with a Corvette master cylinder.

ELECTRICAL:
During the build an EZ 18 circuit wiring harness was installed. All lights and charging system work as they should. A single wire GM alternator is used.

INTERIOR:
It has an upholstered cushioned seat.

Payment is due within 7 days of auction end. Truck will be released after funds clear. Shipping is buyer's responsibility. I will assist as needed.
