1967 Mercedes SL-Class for sale
Current customer rating: (38 votes ) based onThe Mercedes 250SL has and always will be a status symbol. This is a very classy car that oozes elegance without being too pretentious and this particular example is finished in white over a blue MB-tex interior. There has been a Sony radio installed and the original radio is not included with the vehicle. Power is derived from a 2.5L inline-6 paired to a 4-speed manual transmission. These are great little sports cars to blast around town and take to events. The 250 SL 4-speed is among the rarest and most desirable of the SL line.
This example has been part of a predominant Orange County collection for over 10 years, this very desirable 4 speed manual has been meticulously maintained and driven primarily to cars and coffee. The car has been treated to a recent paint job in it's original Mercedes factory white, and still maintains its original blue interior and comes with its original Pagoda hardtop also repainted to match. The car is fitted with its original matching numbers 2,496 cc (2.5 L) producing 148 HP and 159 lb·ft of torque.
It has had a recent service including a tune up, replacements of all fluids, new plugs, timing, new battery, oil change, radiator flush, new fuel pump and hoses, new fuel sender seal, and tire/brake Inspection. The car has a clean California title. The 4-speed manual gearbox shifts cleanly and is a blast to drive. This is an excellent high quality original driver that is one of nicest driving 250 SL on the market.
