Vehicle Details

Up for sale is a 1970 Chevelle Convertible LS6 Clone. Since less than 20 actual LS6 convertibles were produced by Chevrolet, this car was respectfully built as a clone with no deception intended. It was rescued from a salvage yard in Southwest Missouri and has undergone a complete rotisserie restoration which was completed in 2017. It was built with correct original date coded LS6 components including engine, heads, intake, carburetor, distributor, alternator, smog pump, water pump, starter, M22 transmission, and wheels.

Since it came out of a salvage yard and was rebuilt, it does have a Missouri Prior Salvage title. The car was inspected by the Missouri Highway Patrol to insure the car had the correct VIN numbers and it was road worthy. In Missouri if a car is rebuilt and meets all state requirements, the title will indicate “Prior Salvage” to indicate the vehicle is legal to drive again. It is a good clean title. When I bought the car the frame and body were intact but the engine and transmission were gone. It had rear quarter panel damage and front fender damage and the bumpers were missing as well.

The car was built in Los Angeles,CA during the 3rd week in June 1970. The exterior is Cranberry red with a black vinyl interior.
