Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.15) based on 31 votes
This is a 1985.5 Porsche 944 with the N/A 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder with ~164k Original miles in a low-production color called Maraschino Red with a 5-speed manual. Not only is the 944 an icon, it's a work of art.Included in the purchase of this German icon are:- Period-correct standard 15" non-offset phone dial wheel- Spare tire in good shape- New bluetooth stereo with new speakers- Floor Mats- Two Porsche keys- Clean Title - For Sale By Owner- New Timing Belt Kit, Clutch kit, Master Cylinder, Slave Cylinder InstalledNo lights are on in the cluster and all lights and signals work as intended.  This Porsche is not in perfect cosmetic condition by any means, but it is a beautiful car in excellent mechanical condition. There are some small dents and dings which are to be expected on a car of this age, but you can have them corrected without much work.  The driver's side seat is a little worn.  The huge advantage of this car is has a new timing belt kit and a new clutch kit, master cylinder, slave cylinder, brake pads, new struts in the last 500 miles.  The car shifts and drives beautifully. I bet there is no other 944 in this good of mechanical condition in the country!  There is also no rust on this car, not the least bit.  According to the previous own is was stored indoors. The only issue is getting the hatch open at the moment. The sound system sounds great, it has 6x9s in the trunk. In summary...- If you know what this car is and are done looking for a solid daily driver 944, and have been looking for a fun car that will continue to increase in value and stand out from a sea of boring cars on the road.  This is definitely a unique car that is worth the extra effort.  I wouldn't hesitate to drive this across the country. This rare in color, perfectly 50/50 weight balanced (excellent track car, most successful Porsche of its time ), Porsche 944 is ready for the next enthusiast. I've been told this Porsche is worth around $19K - but I have dropped the price.
