I've owned this 240d for 3 years. It's engine was replaced in the 90's when the body had around 140000 miles. The radio has been replaced by an alpine Bluetooth radio with Polk audio speakers. In the past year I have replaced the battery, all glow plugs, starter, and its had an oil change every 3000 miles since I've owned it. The AC works but leaks Freon in a day after being filled up. Every major part has been replaced in the AC system except for the evaporator where I believe the leak is occurring. Heat works! This vehicle is completely rust free. The interior is missing some minor aesthetic pieces but everything works for the most part. All the windows work except for the back right. The sunroof works. All the locks work except for the trunk. The trunk remains permanently unlocked. I believe the vacuum system that controls the locks has an issue. I have most of the receipts for work done on the vehicle prior to when i bought it. I have done all the work myself since acquiring it.I've driven this car over 40000 miles in just 3 years and it has given me very little issues. If you have any questions let me know. Thank you!
