1967 Ford Mustang Fastback GTA 390 Big Block

1967 Ford Mustang 390 GTA Fastback. 7R02S code.   Mileage 96. 03.

Original Black Plate California Car.   San Jose Built. Los Angeles Delivered. Been in Bay area with me since 1979. San Jose built. GT package. C6 Automatic Transmission. 9 inch rear end. 4V 390 GT engine. black standard interior. Candy Apple Red. Power Steering. Power Disc Brakes. Factory Air Conditioning.

This car has NO RUST. ever on this Fastback.

The interior is absolutely stunning. and 100% restored.   Correct fold down seat. new upholstery. headliner. seats. dash. everything.   Upper and Lower Consoles are beautiful.

Original Steering wheel is refinished in Hand Rubbed Walnut.   One of the last from Dallas Mustang.

The exterior is flawless. and has an amazing BASF Glasurit 2 stage base clear Candy Apple Red paint.   Body panel fit is far better than original.    Doors open and close solid. and the attention to detail is excellent.

Engine is numbers matching. date correct. S-code 390 with correct GT heads. and date correct 4bbl intake and Holley carburetor.   Fresh rebuild with new pistons. bearings. hardened valves. etc.   All brand new. restored and correct.   Transmission is original C6. totally rebuilt.   Brand new 3. 5 inch Aluminum Driveshaft. Rear end is numbers matching. 3. 00 Limited Slip all rebuilt with new bearings. Brakes are new and correct.

Car sits on brand new Mustangs Plus suspension with high performance mid-eye rear springs. and 720 lb front coils.   Tires are brand new BFGoodrich Radial T/A in p215/75/R14.   New big Block Sway Bar. and KYB gas-adjustable Shocks.   Exhaust is brand new Mustangs Unlimited Concourse Transverse system with Quad tips.

Brand new gas tank. gas lines. brake lines. hoses. belts. etc…

Everything on this car is either new. or restored. and all numbers match.

This is not a 100% concourse restoration…but everything could be returned to stock.   The Mods are things that I like. including Upper Console. Aluminum driveshaft. Limited Slip Differential. and Styled Steel Wheels.   Most everything else is as Ford Built it from the factory.

I have added more pictures showing details.   The paint on the underside of the floor pans is original.   The torque box is totally rust free.   The floor supports have some speed bump dents. but absolutely no rust.   The radiator is the correct C7ZE stamped with the FoMoCo logo.
