1972 Chevrolet Corvette LT-1 - Matching numbers.I am the third owner. Bought the car in 1978. Still have the original bill of sale. Had 81992 miles on it when I bought it. Current mileage shown is accurate. This was a weekend only car. I was active in NCCC and SCCA Solo 2 with this car. Rebuilt the engine, shortly after I bought it. Built to 1970 spec LT-1. Bored 30 over and has 11-1 pistons. It has the original spec Holly 780CFM dual inlet carb. Engine was balanced and blueprinted. The car was completely repainted at the same time, and new seats, carpet, and door panels installed, all of which now needs to be replaced. Dash and dash pad, as can be seen in the pictures, is in good shape.However, through a series of unfortunate circumstances, the car was laid up since the late 80s. It was in my garage in Louisiana until 1999, and has been in my garage in Texas ever since. The existing frame does have significant rust, so I had bought a 1979 rolling chassis, in the hopes of restoring this car, using either parts from that chassis, or the entire chassis, as needed. I have decided that I am too old to undertake this project, so I am selling the car, together with the chassis. I have the titles for both the car and the chassis.Both car and chassis are rollers, so can be pulled/pushed onto a trailer.I will consider separating the car and the chassis, if someone is interested in either one, separately.M21 Transmission3.70 and 4.11 gear sets - 4.11 currently installed. 3.70 is original.Hurst Competition Plus Shifter installed - I also have the original shifter.F-41 suspension option.Power SteeringHard top and rag top.Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.
