Up for your consideration is a 1971 boss 351 mustang. It still retains its matching number engine that runs out great. The only leak is the water pump does drip some on it. It has a correct non matching numbers transmission. The car appears to have a dealer installed ac system on it which would make sense being it was sold new in Hawaii however I do not have any paperwork on it. It has a dual point distributor in it. The carburetor is a 69 cobra jet. I do have a correct one that could come with the car at an additional price. The car has all new brakes, gas tank, exhaust, tires and a new clutch. I have put around 70 miles on it since it has been put back on the road. I make 10 to 15 mile pleasure trips in it and it does great. The lights need work only the brake lights work. The car is fairly solid. The cowl does have rust from the ac system being installed and the trunk floor has rust. Rails and torque boxes are solid. Floor pan has some spots here and there but nothing major. Very odd interior only 23 sports roof mustangs in 1971 had it according to the marti report. Possibly the only boss with it but once again no paper work to prove it. This is a great restoration candidate or drive and enjoy like it is. I have described the car to the best of my knowledge however I encourage you to come inspect the car for yourself before bidding. The car is sold as is and only cash or a bank check is acceptable.
