1983 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Four Wheel Drive

Beautiful low milage truck. This truck was lightly used as a brush truck to fight fires in our small town. It has only been registered once to the city and has a clear accident-free title in my name and ready to transfer to new owner. The mileage on title will read Exempt, which is usually filed after a city/state or federal vehicle has over 10,000 miles. I was told, by the city mayor & the now retired mechanic, that the milage is absolutely original. The vehicles interior is almost 100% perfect & original and shows hardly any wear.

·     So close to Perfect!! Beautiful & Very Comfortable black vinyl. The good O'l days.

·     One small speaker grill blemish on dash “see pictures” normally the whole speaker grill on dash is completely deteriorated. No cracks in dash.

·     Headliner cloth is starting to droop in spots. This is the outer material the rest headliner “insulation” is very solid and intact.

·     Door panels are great shape. The rears are missing the small arm rest.

·     The original floor matting is almost perfect with the exception of a few cracks.

·     Dash panel normal light wear, nothing cracked. Missing the wiper motor knob.

All lights, turn signals, horn and gauges work except front fuel gauge which sometimes works correctly.

The 351ci (5.8L) engine & automatic transmission runs smooth. Has new Motor Craft copper spark plugs, oil, and all filters, antifreeze and a new more modern windshield/radiator overflow reservoir. One new Interstate battery & terminals, the other Interstate is good.

The truck drives straight, feels good on bumps & four wheel drive is excellent. On warmer days the truck will start immediately. No pumping the gas, on colder days takes more cranking to start. It has two fuel pumps 1) mechanical & 1) electrical that can be turned on/off on dash & helps on colder days. Has a nice heavy duty battery isolator switch is on driver's side floor. It set up to use 1 or 2 batteries & also has a position for the water pump in bed that can be started with a separate battery.

I'm starting this barn find of a truck at a low price and No Reserve!! If someone didn't want the water tank & pump, I would love to keep it for a trailer set up around the ranch and would minus $500 from final sale price.

This would be an awesome truck for someone to install a regular bed on, lift it 4 inches, fix what little body work that's needed and repaint it fire truck red & have a real nice classic Crew Cab One Ton 4X4!!
