 For sale. No trades. sorry.

Sweet 1955 Chevy Painted Orchard Orange and white. Car was restored over many years and has less than 1500 miles since completion. car isn't perfect as it has been driven to car shows and nice days but its defiantly a solid show car. I have a huge folder of receipts. I have a new CCP sway bar. CCP 12 inch disk brake kit with drill slotted. 2 inch drop spindles. ss braided lines and a new vette master and p valve with the buy it now price only. I have the heater assembly out of the car as I had planned on putting an aftermarket A/C kit in this summer. half the work is done!

Engine: . 030 283 from an early 60s car. this car has modern engine mounts.   10/10 crank. true roller chain. moly rings. hefty sounding cam with 110LSA and a great idle. The block has less than 1500 miles on it and the heads up are all new and installed in Oct. such as; 86 Vette aluminum heads. GM head gaskets. ARP head. intake. WP and header bolts. nbsp;comp cams magnum roller rockers. Edelbrock Endura-shine intake and 600 cfm electric choke carb. edel fuel pump and stainless braided hose with filter. MSD dist kit with wires and ign box. hooker coated headers. 100 amp chrome 1 wire alt. mini high torque starter with heat sleeve. chrome tuff stuff power steering pump. aluminum pully's. satin hv water pump. aluminum brackets. electric fan with polished shroud. polished aluminum big 2 core radiator and automatic fan wiring kit. I installed two 2 5/8s  auto meter oil psi and water temp in individual pods under the radio. No issues with the engine as you can imagine.

Trans and axle: Since Oct. Fresh stage 1 2004r trans with lock up. Its all controlled from bowtie over drives tv corrector. braided tv cable. internal harness and brake switch. I also bought BTOs braided trans lines for the cooling. It shifts nice and firm but not harsh. This trans has all new parts with a 2100 stall and aluminum 2-4 servo. Its shifted by a B&M quick silver floor shifter. New u joints and balanced drive shaft. rebuilt GM P case posi. rebuilt 57 chevy rear end with Timken bearings as well new rear springs. shocks. shock bar and brakes all the way around. Boss 338 18 and 20 inch rims. nothing too special but I feel they fit and give the car a cleaner and modern stance.

Body: Very clean and straight. it can be buffed again as I haven't tried too. You see a few spots that have very minor peel but you have to have your face right on it to see. Naturally you will find some minor chips but they are random and few. The worst part is at the right tail lense. t has a small crack in the paint and chip. The car did receive some floor work and it was welded and then seam sealed for longevity. they did a good job.  The owner spend a lot on the paint and body work. it looked like it was close to 10K. All the chrome is original stuff. it was all redone and looks like new. the stainless on the body is straight and nice but if you plan on doing shows only your gonna want to take an after noon and polish it up to a new luster. All the lights work. I put a used set of tri halogens in the front asI had them laying around. The wiring is new and made by American auto wire. Its labeled and comes with connectors for everything. New fuel tank and sending unit installed. Doors trunk and hood shut solid and tight with solid undersides. All new seals and body mounts too.

Interior: Very nice charcoal colored interior. the carpet is black and does have a few minor thread pulls. The dash is painted like the car. it has new chrome trim. radio with ipod etc controls. kick panel speaker with vents. new speedo and cable. new Ididit tilt. Nothing too fancy buy classy and match's the color well. I do wish I had gotten a gray wheel and would dye it. I have replaced some of the inner handles but do have the rest of them. They are a bit faded.

Overall I hope the pictures speak for the car. its solid ready to drive and show. Every car will always need work. even if its just putting your own touchs into it. The car is located in Indianapolis Indiana and has a clear title. I will except partial cash. certified check or EFT bank to bank. Car will not leave my garage until money has cleared.  Fridays or weekends are easier for me to meet. 765 461 1037. Dan

I received a question on the heater and frame. I forgot to add it to the answered question list. I didn't want to install the heater or move the battery to the trunk as I don't know what the new buyer will want. I assume the buyer will install A/C as the car is nice enough for it. I also have a new trunk install kit if the buyer wants it. The frame is nice. clean and not bent. I do have a few more pics of it as well the car but I have reached the ebay max of 24 pictures. I have tried to put the most relative pics on ebay. If you wish to see more pics. please ask and I will get them to you. I appreciate all of the watchers and bids. the new owner will be very happy!
