Are trucks the new muscle car? This stunning 1966 Chevy C10 makes an impressive argument. With a built small block. a 4-speed. and bright red paint. it fits the bill and definitely delivers the goods.



The regular cab/short bed combination is the one you want if performance is your goal in a pickup. with a few tasteful upgrades. this one looks menacing without radical mods. With classic proportions and a nose-down attitude. it looks fast and functional at the same time. Workmanship is excellent throughout. and you know someone spent a lot of time to get this one right. Completed in 2012. the paint is definitely vivid. which you'd expect from a truck that has won as many trophies as this one has. and the bright GM Victory Red suits the pickup perfectly. These trucks also offer a bunch of neat details. like the mini "spoiler" on the rear of the cab. hood-mounted parking lights. and just enough chrome to make it sparkle. Experts will note that's a 1956 Chevy hood ornament. but it seems to look right at home here. And no pickup is worth its trailer hitch without a functional bed. with this one finished and ready to work with a spray-in bedliner.



The interior has a definitely muscle car vibe going on with low-back bucket seats and a Hurst shifter atop a Saginaw 4-speed manual gearbox. The original bench seat has been ditched in favor of leather-wrapped buckets from a 1965 Buick Riviera. and there are new black carpets on the floor. replacing the original rubber mat. Original gauges are grouped behind a single pane with all the markings stenciled on. so it looks custom all by itself. Auxiliary gauges. including a tachometer. have been neatly installed bwlow the dash and that's a state-of-the-art AM/FM/iPod stereo head unit there in the center. Vintage Air A/C was added during the build. with controls that look like they were born there and some low-profile vents under the dash and there's an Ididit tilt column and a custom wheel. so it's easy to get comfortable. With all the upgrades. this truck is as comfortable as a modern machine. yet moves like a muscle car.



The reason for that dual nature is the built 350 under the hood. which makes plenty of power but is equally happy idling in rush hour traffic thanks to a giant aluminum radiator and a mild cam. Fuel comes from an Edelbrock 750 carburetor atop an aluminum intake manifold. Gorgeous ceramic-coated long-tube headers feed an X-pipe and custom Magnaflow stainless exhaust system that tucks the mufflers way up under the bed for great ground clearance. The stock rear end carries 4. 10 gears and still hangs on long control arms and coil springs. but with an aftermarket sway bar and new shocks. it doesn't handle like an old pickup any longer. Black painted 6-lug Rallys wear hubcaps and trim rings. along with staggered 255/60/15 front and 275/60/15 rear tires that really fill the fenders.

TERMS OF SALE  

1. Per the eBay User Agreement. by placing a bid you are entering into a legally binding contract and are committed to purchasing the vehicle described above. The details of this commitment are further outlined in the eBay User Agreement.

2. Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

3. The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.

4. A $1. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction's close.   This deposit reserves the vehicle and removes it from the market. Acceptable payment types for deposit are: credit card. wire transfer. cashier's check. and money order.

5. If winning bidder does not contact Streetside Classic Cars and submit deposit within 48 hours of auction close. vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come. first serve basis.

6. Streetside Classic Cars has represented this vehicle to the best of its ability. Prospective bidders are encouraged to contact us directly to provide additional information or answer any questions.

7. Please be aware that all pre-owned vehicles. regardless of age. mileage. or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Streetside Classic Cars encourages bidder to have a personal inspection completed prior to delivery to help ensure your satisfaction. Third party inspections are to take place prior to a vehicles shipment or delivery.

8. All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied.

9. Final or winning bid price does not include shipping. tax. title. or registration fees. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide for any state or local taxes and shipping expenses resulting from the sale.

10. We can assist you in delivery through our network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody.

11. Streetside Classic Cars bears no liability and shall be held harmless for any complications. expenses. or damages resulting from a failure to meet these terms as they have been set forth and established herein.

12. An additional documentation fee of $199 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale.
