Between December 2020- September 2021, it had a restoration with sand work, new paint and bodywork including replacing spark plugs, plug wires, oil change, new rubbers, rebuilt headlamp motors, recovered vinyl seats and black carpet, refurbished window regulators. In the last 1k miles the Sting Ray's 15? wheels were given polished hubcaps with faux knockoffs wrapped in BF Goodrich Silvertown Goldline tires, had the clutch plate and the brake master cylinder replaced.
