1969 Cadillac Calais This auction is for a 1969 Cadillac Calais.

During the Sixties. Cadillac styling became more graceful and restrained as Bill Mitchell gradually unified the design. Few new engineering advances were introduced. but orderly design development and a conservative styling approach set Cadillac apart from other luxury makes and maintained its reputation as “The Standard of the World. ” To the American public. Cadillac remained a symbol of prestige. success. and good taste.

The Calais was a full-size luxury car made by Cadillac from 1965 to 1976. Although the Calais was positioned below the Deville in the lineup. it still featured the extensive standard equipment that Cadillac was known for. In 1969. the Calais was redesigned in a style more similar to the Eldorado.

This 1969 Cadillac Calais two door hardtop features a blue exterior and matching blue interior. both of which show very nicely. The 472 cubic inch V8 engine and automatic transmission and move the Calais along with authority. This vehicle drives very well and delivers on the promise of world-class luxury that the Cadillac brand is known for.
